Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 May 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

LearnSalsa.AI™ (the "Service") is operated by Shlomo Elikplim Yao Dunyo, a sole trader based in Leeds, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service

LearnSalsa.AI™ lets dancers upload salsa videos and analyse them with AI — including move detection, beat counting, pose tracking, weight-shift analysis, slow motion and A/B looping. Some features are available free of charge; others require a paid plan.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
  • upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • upload illegal content, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, harassment, or content depicting real violence;
  • attempt to interfere with the security of the Service — including probing, scanning, scraping, distributing malware, or circumventing access controls;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or any output that is not your own content.

3.1 Tool-specific acceptable use

In addition to the general rules above, the following per-tool restrictions apply. Breach of any of these is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and removal of the offending content.

  • SyncShot™ Live — for live broadcasting of in-person dance classes and practice sessions filmed by the broadcaster on their own devices. You may not use it to restream copyrighted third-party content (TV channels, films, sport, concerts), to operate an IPTV-style channel or service, or to broadcast any footage you do not have the right to transmit. Any user may report a live session from within the session page; reports are reviewed and offending sessions and accounts will be terminated.
  • Link — an analysis tool that measures your own dancing in a video you upload and returns numeric scores plus written coaching notes. It does not generate images, video, audio, avatars, or any synthetic likeness. You may only upload footage of yourself or footage you have the explicit right to analyze.
  • Solista — analyses the movement of dancers visible in a video you upload (per-dancer pose, timing, footwork). It does not generate images, video, audio, or synthetic likenesses, does not identify people, and does not perform face recognition. You may not use it to surveil, profile, or attempt to identify any individual, and you may only upload footage you have the right to analyze.
  • Decipher™ — a one-shot video analyzer that returns a structured breakdown of detected moves. It is not a chatbot and has no free-form conversational surface for end users. You may not attempt to repurpose its output to bypass these Terms or our Acceptable Use rules.
  • Spatial Context™ — derives the dancer's facing direction, turns, and floor path from the same pose geometry as our other tools. It does not generate images, video, audio, or synthetic likenesses, does not identify individuals, and does not perform face recognition or biometric ID. You may only run it on footage you have the right to analyze.

4. Your content and AI outputs

You retain ownership of the videos and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transcode, and process that content solely so we can provide the Service to you (including running AI analysis on it). You are responsible for the videos you upload, for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated analysis, and for how you use the outputs. AI outputs are provided for educational and practice purposes only and may be inaccurate — they are not a substitute for in-person coaching, medical, or other professional advice. If a rights-holder believes content on the Service infringes their rights, they can contact us at the email below and we will remove infringing material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

5. Intellectual property

The Service itself — software, models, documentation, branding, and the LearnSalsa.AI™ name and logo — is and remains our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have subscribed to.

6. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Paid plans are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles payment processing, invoicing, tax, refunds, chargebacks and related customer service. By purchasing a plan you agree that payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms of service. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable export window.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you (for example by email or via the Service). Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
